Live Online Tutoring
¡Hola! My name is Andy Milstead, and I am the online Spanish tutor for másPráctica.com. I have over 15 years experience teaching Spanish to college students*, and while I always enjoy teaching in a classroom setting, I am most effective working with students individually. Working one-on-one gives me the opportunity to really understand each student's particular needs and learning styles/preferences. I especially enjoy working with students for whom language learning is challenging, and I take great pride in tailoring sessions to each student's needs. For students who are looking for individualized instruction/tutoring, I offer Zoom-based tutoring hours most afternoons/evenings (except for Saturdays). The fee schedule is below:
- $40 for a 30 minute session
- $50 for a 45 minute session
- $60 for a 60 minute session (best value)
If you are interested in working with me, please contact me and tell me a bit about yourself and your particular needs. We will then set up a short, initial Zoom-based meeting to see if I would be a good fit for your needs and, if so, what preferences you have for our sessions such as:
- Learning styles and preferences (Are you more of a visual learner? Is color-coding helpful? Etc., etc.)
- Visual preferences (font size, background color, etc.) for the best screen reading experience
- Preferred cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) so that I can share resources with you
If you prefer to split the fee with peers/classmates, I also am willing to work with a pair or small group (though this obviously limits my ability to tailor a session to an individual student's needs). If you are interested in online tutoring, click the link below and tell me about your needs!

*NOTE: While I have mostly taught and tutored Spanish at the college level, I am willing to work with high school students as well. Anyone under the age of 18 who would like tutoring in Spanish should have his/her parent or guardian contact me.
